Help me grow!
- I dislike bright sunlight and so, do not expose me to full sun outdoors. While indoors, an east-facing window with morning light would be an ideal spot.
- I do best in loamy, nutrient-rich, quick-draining soil. For me, opt for a mixture with a neutral to acidic pH. If the soil mix gets too heavy, add a little sand.
- Opting for a pot with plenty of drainage holes combined with regular watering is a great way to keep me healthy.
- I do exceptionally well at regular room temperatures.
- During the spring and summer (growing seasons), feed me one to two times a month with a regular houseplant fertilizer, and cut back to about once every other month during fall and winter.
- I can easily be propagated by cuttings and division methods.
- I am vulnerable to pests including aphids, mealybugs, scale, and white flies. Treat the pests on me by mixing 2 & 1/2 tablespoons of dawn dish soap in 1 gallon of water, then spraying it evenly on me entirely
